About Us
EFS Fire is a new business unit of Elmira Farm Service (EFS). EFS has been in business since 1955, and is considered one of the leading John Deere dealership in Canada. EFS has 5 locations across southern Ontario in Elmira, Listowel, Mount Forest, Shelburne and Ospringe (Acton). Employing over 130 staff, EFS has been founded and maintained on the basis of integrity, respect, hardwork and customer service that our agricultural heritage has provided. We know these values are shared by those serving in the fire services as well. EFS provides, sales, parts and service for the complete line of John Deere ag equipment, lawn and garden and utility vehicles, as well as the Stihl line of power products. Also, through its sub-unit of EFS Precision, EFS boast the leading team in precision agriculture and drainage in Ontario - providing state of the art GPS technology from several manufacturers to its customers.
EFS has been an ARGO dealer for a number of years, and through working with local Fire forces has recognized the need and potential for a tool such as the EFS FIRE CHIEF to assist in meeting the increased needs of the Fire Service in Ontario.
The EFS Fire Chief is the main product being brought to the marketplace as this new unit launches, and is the result of combining the strengths of two other leading Canadian companies along with EFS - Ontario Drive and Gear (ODG) is an Ontario based company and a world leader in the production of all terrain semi-amphibious vehicles; you may already know them as ARGO; and CET (based outside Montreal) an industry leading producer of fire apparatus; you probably already use their products in your fire hall today.
